Care
provided at Kline Hospice House will be exactly like
it would be provided in patients homes. Caregivers
strive to make patients as comfortable and pain-free
as possible so they can live each day to the fullest,
in a safe, caring environment without regard of age,
gender, nationality, race, creed, sexual orientation,
disability, diagnosis, or ability to pay.
Everyone
at Hospice believes that every day is a gift. And as
each of us approaches our final days we should be able
to enjoy them with our family and friends as comfortably
and to best of our ability as possible.
With
the same hospice philosophy of replacing cure with care
for those with a terminal illness and a life expectancy
of weeks versus months, Hospice of Frederick County is
adding another option to enhance our present level of
services; Kline Hospice House. One of the strengths
of hospice care is enabling patients to remain in the
comforts of their own home, surrounded by loved ones.
Providing care in their home works well for most people
although problems are encountered in some situations.
Kline Hospice House will enable terminally ill patients
to receive care in a home-like atmosphere, when a situation
prevents them from staying in their own home.
